Riverton is in a central location to explore Clare Barossa Valley Burra region. Set in the picturesque Gilbert Valley surrounded by farming land just 91 kms from Adelaide. The beautifully restored Railway Station is an exquisite gallery exhibiting local artists. Scholz Park Museum has blacksmith wheelwright shops in original working order. Excellent sporting facilities include golf courses, tennis courts, walking/cycling trails, swimming pool bowling green. Gilbert Lake is a delightful picnic area with BBQ facilities.
